HELP WITH DIET FOR ANAVAR/EQ Cycle

Hey guys, its come down to this in the end
EQ 500mg Wk 1-10
Liquidvar 45-50mg Wk 2-12 ED

Now my question is that i basically want to cut bf, while bulking. I know that this is pretty hard to do at the same time. But was curious as to what the diet should look liek sicne that is the most important part. Since the appetite will be through the roof with the EQ i figured i should do around a 4200 calorie diet. Now i am going to be very honest i dont count calories to the T since i eat alot of grilled chicken and round eye and such that i dont know all the information for. Can you help me with my diet as to how to have it to get maximum benefits? Thanks.

Im 176lbs (as soon as i wake up in the morning), 5'7.5 (smallguy), and roughly 13-17% bf.

super high protein is often suggested with ox as it "plays into the mechanisms", along w/ creatine also.
 
nice cycle afterall! Anavar f*kin' rocks btw! If I could afford it I'd live off the s**t. As for diet, high protein, modest fat and carbs works. I do 7k cal / day , but use (shhhhh don't tell 2Thick) Deca instead of EQ, and you need high cal for that.

how do you like mixing the deca with the var. I am planning a cycle that would consist of BTG var @ 20mg for 8 weeks with either deca or test. My goal is to use this cycle while leaning up...
 
if you want to lose fat with that cycle, you don't need to bother with anything except making sure you get 200-250 grams of protein ED. Fat is not needed,( you need fat but you will get enough without having to try to add it) and carbs are not needed , anything over 50 grams of carbs is not needed at all. A lot of people will argue this. But I just finished a similar cycle to yours and lost a lot of BF while eating LOW fat and less than 50 G carbs a day with 45 min cardio 6 x a week. Now I am 8 % BF, 5'5" and 187 lbs....... And by the way, that is EXACTLY where I want to be, no bigger, no smaller, Just want to constantly improve definition and density.....

aleavar -- I like it! although I like 40+ of var to really feel it. 400deca/wk. But that makes it sorta like a funky bulking cycle (like a LBM bulking cycle). Pharmguy's diet and recs are good for cutting on it. If you want to cut up try primo/var, it's the bomb!
 
When I mixed var and EQ, the var stifled my appetite like hell. I would get the intense EQ hunger pangs, but then when I went to eat I filled up fast as hell. This only happened once I added the var into the cycle. I've heard similar experiences from other guys too, so you'll still probably have to put some effort in and force yourself to eat, unless the EQ hunger wins out.

I would just recommend that you eat as much protein as you possibly can. Don't go crazy with the carbs, keep them moderate, and the fat should fall into place if you're getting your protein from beef and chicken.
 
great posts guys....i am thinking of running var +eq as well....gonna try to get around 300-350 grams of protien though
 
Well tiger88, I am of the opinion that too much protien is better than not enough protein. Just don't do that amount of protein on a permanant basis or it will shred your kidneys up. But for a few months at a time, I like it. I suggest after consuming large protein meals follow it with some metamucil or citrucel, it will make you feel much better, plus it will help keep your cholesterol down. Those high protein meals caused me some wicked GI disturbances and that helped a lot.
 
ya i always take ginger root to help digest it as well......i used to take metamucil and i think i will start again when i eat this amount of food......230 lbs X 1.5 grams of protein is arund 340-350......
 
thanks to everyone above for inputs. One problem with the card idea though. I have this post workout protein drink that has 100g of cards. (good carbs though). I want to bulk my muscle BUT try and keep body fat down not totally shredd up. So should i do one dietthen another half way through? Or just stay with around 450g protein 200 carb and whatever fat i get form the beef and chicken along with the flaxseed oil?

it is a good card idea, i agree. drinking cards will get you nowhere. i'd suggest possibly finding a protein drink with less carbohydrates. maybe throw in a steady supplementation of r-ala to boot. that might work out well.
 
I take HDT Pro Blend Solid Gains it has 100g carbs with 4g sugars and 45g protein and glutamine and taurine and everything else I want to pack on some lean muscle and harden up so i figured this would be a must. Am i wrong? no carbs on this cycle.. i am a little skeptical to believe that
 
one other question about the diet. I know eq and var are not meant for considerable weight gains, but i do want to add minimal mass. Therefore should i eat 300-350 grams of protein and 200+ grams of carbs, to add SOLID mass? I want to also lose bodyfat. I know you cant do two things at once, but i dont want to just harden up what i have now. I would liek to add another 6-7 lbs of muscle along with hardening and losing bf. Think primo would be better instead of the eq then? I am set on the liquidvar, i want to do it so bad! But i am also runnignthe eq at 500mg a week (sunday and wednesday). SO sorry forthe long message, but what diet will ADD lean mass, whiel harden?
 
If you are trying to lose fat you should keep carbs low, less than 100, less then 50 if you can handle it.
 
I am planning the same cycle as well - for lean bulking (if that is possible) - I am 190LB or so, about 10% bf.

According to Mr.X diet on the diet board I should be at 380g of protein, 123g of fat and 285g of carbs a day. I stay pretty lean right now with the same about of protein and fat, but want to add carbs when I start my cycle.

Do you guys think 285g of carbs / day is too much??
