Help with bicep growth?

I have been training off/on for 10 years or so. My question is - have any of you had a problem with lagging bicep growth? My biceps have not grown as much as other muscles have. My training has varied from 9 to 12 sets- alternating light to heavy workouts once a week. Any feedback? Thanks!
 
size/strength training

Day One--Chest/Bi's

I do 10 sets of 5 reps for chest for 3 weeks
then 12 sets of 4 reps for 3 weeks,
then 2 sets of 8 to failure for three weeks,
then 5-4-3-2-1 for three weeks.

I do 5 sets of 5 reps for biceps, following the same pattern.

Day Two--Back/Tri's--same pattern

Day Three--Shoulders/Legs--same pattern.

The point is using maximal weights for each body part, more sets, and fewer reps. You also got to eat. If your bi's are still lagging, then genetics is the problem.
 
train them twice a week and believe me u will see results...i had the same problem then i started hitting them twice a week and holy shiy did they grow....also use some weider principles they work quite well. hope this helps- lexus
 
I've had great results shooting into them.. I know alot of people will say the site injections are b.s. but I go with what I see and they've worked for me..;)
 
I also had amazing growth from site injections my biceps are noticably bigger as the cycle continues. Not sure if this helps because you did not say that you where or where not on a cycle....
 
Would love to work bi's 2 a week but tendons on the inside of the elbow are killing me. Could lift more weight but hurts too much. Ordered some Glucosamine. Any thoughs on this
 
I acutely have better result just working them once a week though the are worked on back day too but just one day a week with direct bicep work
