help with a cut stack

Trying to help a friend plan his cut. He doesn't want to try tren. He's done a cycle of just test 500mgs a week and put on near 30lbs, kept about 17.
What would be a good cut cycle?
I was planning on running prop/tren/mast in the spring but he doesn't want to try tren.

I'd go prop and Var for 8 weeks
100mg eod and 60mg Ed works wonders with diet/training in check

Ok I think var is out of the question cuz of cost. So Winny or masterone? And what dose?

I got a buddy who uses 300mg test e with an AI and that's it! You don't need much to maintain mass imo
