Help Question About Abcess

I have a very painful 'growth softeball size" knot on my shoulder. My doctor is giving me an MR in the AM. I can't move my arm at all I have fever and everything else. Has anybody ever had an abscess? It maybe a growth but if abscess what will happen? I am on 2 antibiotics and hopefully this will help. I am at this point to be honest scared. Have been sick since last Thursday my other health issues aside but this infection appears to keep moving and now its in my delt or I shot a while back and the infection is now making it painful. Any help??

Bro, if you're seeing your doc tomorrow, and you're already on 2 AntiB's, don't sweat it. Just stay calm until tomorrow and see what the results are of that exam. This isn't the end of the world. Just take it easy and try to relax.

i had one in my ass...i just let my body take care of it. i think you are doing everything you can though.
