Dammit, so i got some photos to put up here, but im having major problems. i used a camcorder to take stills and the software saves the stills as .mpg. how the fuck do i get the still saved as a .gif? please get back to me

I have never done this with mpgs before, but with most images if you open them you can click save as and change the type of file it is.

TRY RENAMING THE STILLS AS 'JPG' AND OPENING THEM IN PAINTBRUSH. MAYBE THEY ARE ACTUALLY JPEGS BUT JUST HAVE AN MPEG EXTENSION.

maybe you can do a snapshot of your video while it is playing and save the snapshot on to your hard drive. of course, you will need a media player to do this, although I don't know if most media players do this. I know power dvd does this

Open 'em with Painshop or Windows Imaging, and save them as .jpg's.

ive tried all that shit. no luck. there has to be someone here that knows how to take a frame out of an animation and save it as .gif...smalls, arent you the photoshop motherfucker, how can i do it?
