Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below Is there any drawbacks from obtaining your BA by taking online courses through UOP? Some people are telling me that employers will frown upon the fact I obtained my BA through online courses since they are easier then taking classes where you attend the college itself.........

I'm not too sure, but I heard those online courses are expensive.

It SHOULDn't matter.... but it might.
I got my BS from UOP (went to the campus) and it was hard as hell. There is a shit load of projects and not much time to do them in. I wouldn't be able to do it online, and wouldn't want to.
Whenever I put on my resume my degree..... I always wonder if the interviewer is going to ask me if I got it online.
I wish UOP wouldn't offer those types of courses.

If I was going to hire one of two people, with identical qualifications, but one had a BA from an online school and the other had one from a traditioal school, I'd hire the one who went to the traditional school.

Good point, but it is under a pretty big add campaign for it's online courses. Also, if you live in Kentucky, worker there for the last 4 years, and have a BA/BS from a school in AZ, they'll know what's up.IanStuart said:
