Help! No Motivation

Ive tried that new program I posted but it doesnt seem to be making any great gains for me. I was thinkin of going back on my old thing which was somewhat working for me. The problem is that I have no motivation. I sleep alot, I dont feel like lifting at all, sometimes i just feel like whats the use and I can do anything unless im on gear (which im not now). I need help getting motivated, i dont know what to do. And when i do get the energy up to lift, after 20 min i dont feel like doing it, then i feel sore and cant lift as much, and then things just go downhill from there and I give up-Maybe i have depression..Any ideas!!!

Why are you lifting if you hate it? Just to get chicks?

A Members Only jacket is alot cheaper, and pulls in the honeys like crazy.
 
The thing you need to do is forget about what it feels like to lift on gear and go with where you are now. Lifting is not about comparing where you are now to where you were. You do this long enough you are going to go through many ups and downs in the game. There is no such thing as constant steady progress in this game.

You make gains, you level off, and sometimes you lose some ground. Sometimes you start making modest gains. It is the nature of the beast. You need to start with where you are now and go from there every day you lift. What you did before does not matter, that is the past and you shouldn't give a shit. Go with today.
 
Try and go to a different gym.
Break up the routine you have now; maybe
go at a different time.

You have to look at this long term.
Sometimes we feel like it and sometimes we don't; but never give up!!! Just change it around!!:)

Find a training partner to keep you jacked but its still going to have to come from inside you bud. Can't do this for chicks either.
Gotta do it for yourself.....
Set goals in your lifting, tough to just lift to lift, have a goal.

The advice that Roadblock, Pamela and Game gave was good.:)
Maybe you just need a break for a while. When I got tendonitis that really got me depressed,;BAWLING:It seemed like I came so far then took a few steps backwards, then I got it in my other arm, this lasted about a year. I just worked with it, nothing was going to stop me from my workouts, I enjoy them to much. Ofcourse there are days when I'm just not in the mood to go, so then I don't. Workouts should never become a drudge they should always be enjoyable. During the day just psych yourself up about what type of routine you will do today, Change it , make it different , try to do lifts that you haven't done before, ask a trainer to help or watch other people and see what type of lifts they do, there are so many options.
