Help! MY stomach feels so damn bloated.

Coldshot

New member
I've been bulking for the last 2 weeks and i get this unfortable bloated feeling in my tummy quite often. I tried taking ginger root caps but it doesnt help all the time. Sometimes it gets so bad that i dont even wana eat.

I'm 5-10 and 160lbs. I try to keep my diet at 40 carbs/40 pro/20 fats. I take less carbs on off days.

I fart like no tomorrow and have not been moving my bowels as often my before.

What should i do to help improve my condition?

Any input from you guys is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

How different are your bulking and cutting diets and did you add any new foods to the bulking diet you dont normally eat? I dont know much about stuff like this but the gas sounds a little like a food allergy.

I've yet to do a cutting cycle since this is my first time bulking. So its hard for me to do a comparison. Somehow i feel its the carbs that is giving me the bloated feeling.

I'm eating mainly eggs, chicken, beef, pasta, oatmeal, potatos and a whey shake after wk outs.

how much ginger root? you can take up to 2g per meal (some people can tolerate more)..

btw- did you slowly increase food intake or just ramp it up? slow increases are better tolerated..

decrease the fat a bit.. it slows digestion..

I'm taking about 500mg per meal so i guess i have to up it. Btw, is it safe to take so many caps of ginger root per day?

I did kinda make the sudden increase from 3-6 meals daily. Guess that kinda add to the problem as well.

Should i decrease the number of meals or the amount i consume per meal?

Supposedly, it's the mix of protein and carbs that causes the majority of bloating/indigestion. From what I've read, your body uses different enzymes to digest protein vs. carbs, and has difficulty producing both types at the same time. So, you either don't mix pro and carbs at the same meal, or you eat protein first, rest a little, then eat the carbs.

Or, you can take digestive enzymes with your meal.
