If you're dead set on blowing your car up, make a pipe bomb. Still, when they come to check out your car and it's full of soot and smells like a big, sulforous fart, they might be just a tad suspicious.

Don’t break the law. Just go into the projects on a nice hot night. Run into your local corner store across the street from the projects and leave the keys in it running. Do whatever shopping you have to do, leaving the car running because the AC is on. Come out and I am sure that your car will be gone.

Parking it in front of the dealers may also help a little to. They need to keep cool too.
