Help me pick a song for my show

I'm stumped this year. I've done hard rock to dance the last few years. I need something catchy buy I am really stuck this year. Our Nationals only let 60 seconds so I don't know if I can mix 2 songs (like a slow then spice it up).

I was thinking of doing Eminem's Follow Me and starting it about 20 seconds in the song when he starts saying, "Look who's back......". Is this corny?

Any suggestions, what's hot?

ps I am heavy weight so I want something kind of aggressive that says, hey notice me.
 
I'm no help at picking songs, but you could always use some of Nathan's 80's sitcom theme songs. He knows them all by heart.:)
 
How about "Girls just wanna have fun" by Cyndi Lauper?
Ok just joking, I prefer motley crue for aggressive or maybe some godsmack.
 
"I wanna sex you up" by Color me Badd or "one" by Metallica--i know who used this song and it worked well. dont use color me badd
 
for sure use the song"bullets" by creed.i told a friend of mine to use it in his show .the chorus is real heavy and cool and goes'LOOK AT ME" heavy guitar riff"LOOK AT ME" etc perfect for bodybuilding....check it out its off their latest cd:cool:

It is a good song to pose to, but the chorus might not hit soon enough for a 60 sec. routine. Give it a run though. Maybe cut off some of the intro by a few seconds.

that was actually the first song i thought of... ditch the streisand idea tho.

Your name says it all.... "THE GAME". If your sure you are gonna win you could always use Nelly's "Number One". That song is awesome.
 
I like the American Bad Ass tune. I never thought of Nelly, and I like Nelly. I going to listen to Number 1 again, I don't want to look to cocky. It definately would work though.

How about "Die Motherfucker Die" by Dope JK bro

I like "Battle Ready" or "Spirits" by OTEP both heavy songs throughout
or
"One Nation" by Soulfly it starts off with little kids saying the Pledge of Allegience and then it gets heavy.

You may also want to check out some Nothingface songs.

I workout at the gym and when I need an extra kick, I listen to hymn of USSR. Go for it... You probably remember on "Red October" what the were singing... Thats what I'm talking about...

Anyhow, if you don't like my advice, then go with KITTIE - RUN LIKE HELL. She is AWESOME!. I want her bad... She would perform those communist songs like no one else would... SEXY...:p
 
For God's sake please do not use any songs by Saliva or System of a Down - I swear AT LEAST 3 competitors used songs by them at all of the shows that I attended and/or was a competitor in. How about Sweet Dreams by Eurithmics (sp.) or even Marilyn Manson, Black Magic Woman by Santana, Intro to Crazy Train - has to be mixed though, because the good part is only 35 seconds or so, also check out some of the songs on Rage Against the Machine's first album and Korn's first album - lots of possibities on those two. Also know your audience, would they be inclined to like rap songs or heavy songs - I personally have found the later to be true. Judges also tend to prefer rock songs (based on conversations held with judges from MY region).
 
Get the sound track to the movie Last of the Mohicans. My best friend used their opening track which wes short and sween. It won him first place that night with a standing ovation after his performance. This is the same track I'll be using this Saturday in memory of him, who died 4 years ago in an autu accident. I just hope he is watching and I can do as well as he did. Good luck bro!
 
when i was at NOC paco batista and marcus ruhl both used Ramstein shit and it pumped up the crowd,,,,u wont understand wtf ramstein is saying, but it still sounds bad ass

Flex wheeler did one to "boys II Men" and no one laughed at him :) :D :D :D

I'd pick Nelly- #1, it gives you some confidence.. but only one problem. You can't lose :)
 
Seeing as how you're a wrestling fan I would go with Triple H "The Game", Stone Cold Steve Austin's theme "Glass Shatters" or maybe Undertaker's theme "Rollin' by Limp Bizkit. There is always that boom boom boom song from years ago that was a huge hit.
 
Thanks for some good ideas guys. I've used Stone Cold's song before and it worked very good. Ramstein sounds really heavy, but I saw Nasser pose to this in Toronto last year and it fricken rocked.
