k, i'm super low on cash, i have like 15 bucks to spend on food until tuesday afternoon sometime (whenver my paycheck gets direct deposited). i have 3 cans of tuna, plenty of oatmeal, 6 egg, and protein powder.

now, what do you think would be the best thing to buy from the grocery store to hold me over?? i'm starving!

Eggs, Brown Rice, and you can get a whole chicken for like 6 bucks. Buy it yourself and cut it up, that will last you till tuesday.

the chicken idea is good....but it costs more than that here in LA. i figured i'd buy some eggs and rice...
hmm...pasta could be cheap, but i don't wanna overdo carbs, that's the only thing...hmmmm

being a poor ass student sucks!

im suprised noone mentioned natural peanut butter, also pasta is good ground beef, some diet sodas they are always on sale and some potatoes

dont forget your dicout card when you go the grocery store. if you dont have one then APPLY for one.

Natty PB here is expensive, then he's gotta buy bread too...that ends up being half of his cash.

And you can't drink PB without milk, so he's gotta have some milk too.

how can i forget pb and milk go hand in hand. for every serving of pb i need a good half gallon of milk...yum

rippedtrojan-

do you have any grocery store discount cards??

BRO HERE ARE THE CHEAPEST FOODS FOR THE LARGEST # OF CALORIES.

POTATOES
WHITE RICE
THOSE BIG OL NASTY CANS OF SALMON (NOT SO CHEAP, BUT GOOD PROTEIN)
BEEF ORGAN PIECES
EGGS

THIS MAY NOT BE A GREAT DIET. BUT THOSE WERE THE CHEAPEST PALATABLE ITEMS IN THE STORE BACK WHEN I HAD NO CASH.
