Long story short, some bad people were raising puppies with poor intentions, so my gf rescued this little guy...he's the cutest thing you'll ever see... but we can't decide on a damn name... so far we (i) have thought of

Vigo (the destroyer)
Spengler (a la Eigon, ghostbusters rules.)
Xerxes (coolest king name ever)
... i don't like common names, the more unique the better!

here's some pics, ask if you need more pics to make a good decision. I appreciate any input :D

ps he's a cool color mix, at first glance, he's just a normal blackish pitbull but his mom was a blue pit, dad white, and when the sun hits him, he kinda has a blue'ish tint to his fur... I hope this comes out as he gets older.

cute dog.

just a thought - the more "unique" most people try to get, the worse the name is. it shows they were trying to be unique - gotta find the balance.

I actually like this one.

Hey ZK, a bit of advice when naming a Pit (as I have two) shoot for something not so intimidating.....so he won't be (as) subjected to the negative bias that Pit's already have. :)

Wayne Groh.... its the name on my fake ID. Its the name of the guy from Heat who had sex with all the prostitutes and then told them they were being visited by Lucifer. Then he broke thier knecks

HEAT RULES... one of my top 10
pitbullstl... I'm totally with you on that one, he might get huge, we don't know... so it's probably better to err on the side of sweet and funny instead of tough and intimidating

if u make an alt name it SugarTank

dogs respond better to 2 syllable names.

otherwise if the run away or do something wrong and you have to call them or yell ...

...it just sounds like a "Bark" with a single syllable .

ok.

p.s. awesome dog btw.he looks happy.

Call him "Stay".

So when you want him you'll say, "Come, Stay" "Come, Stay" ... he'll probably end up a little neurotic though.

How about Tyson and Duke. Worked for me.

Gojo.

Have you ever felt a dog's tongue? It feels just like Gojo on your hands.
That dog is a tough breed also, hell even as a pup he looks tough, just like Gojo is on grime and grease.

Best of luck with him. He looks like a happy baby! My bos is Irish and he names his dogs after old Gaelic names. It's pretty cool. His puppy is named Eedean or something. Everyone calls her Eedie!

those are all ghetto dog names

my pick .. muffin

While I agree with you.........................Muffin may be taking it to the opposite extreme.

Our Pits names are Boomer, and Mo (short for Molina)

The only quasi tough dog name belongs to our Ridgeback, Gunner. :)
