ill be on gh/test/var on and off for the next six months. i want to prepare ahead of time. im sick of optimum whey its been 5 years or so with that stuff. i wanna try MUSCLE MILK i know it has high FAT but thats ok since i only do carbs around my workouts. what other options do i have taht are good and worthy?

I love Prolab Whey. I worked at a supplement store and we tested a few brands of protein. Prolab was the only one that met the claims on the container.

Beverly International's Muscle Provider is awsome! Tastes like hot coco.

ISS's Pro-M 3 is very good, too.

If you can afford it throw in Beverly's Mass amino and BCCA. Trying to use 2 bottles of each a month. Gplenish 3 times a day also.

Muscle milk is great, I use it at least 2x a day. The fats in it actually aren't that bad and are mostly MCT, which are used as energy in your body. Only taste I don't like so far is root beer. You can get muscle milk for 18.49 ( i think thats the price) from dps nutrition.

I am so sick of spending a fortune on protein powders. I take 3-4 of these shakes a day, and regardless of whether it costs $2.50 a lb or $14.50 per lb, I get the same benefit. The main difference is the taste which I ruin with gplenish anyways. From now on, I am websurfing my way to savings.

100% TRUE... try www.froogle.com its the new search engine by google

As you already know I use www.proteinfactory.com

I have 4 different formulas that I take thru the day,
My breakfast formula has egg whites, whole egg, Whey, Aussie cassein, Flax Seed powder and the vitamin additives.
I have a preworkout wich is basically Fast absorbing Whey and some carbs.
Night time formula I take Right before bed I have a >Milk Protein, Aussie Casein, Bovine Serum, egg white and some times I take a spoon full of their Hemp Seed Oil, the idea is that the protein will absorb slowly thru the night. I don't really buy stuff right off the self anymore, some of the protein companies have their whole "Propietary Protein Blend" scam going, which basicaly means that they will tell you their product has 50 g of their "Propietary protein blend" per serving but they wont disclose what kind of protein is in the Blend order to "protect" their formula.... so they could be slipping you Soy protein for all you know.

how the hell do i design a formula? at pro fac

They have a new system in the works that will actually give you the price and values for your formula... for now you have to e-mail or call in your formula... basically all factors ahev to ad up to 100%

For example you can choose:

CMF Whey 35%
Cassein 25%
Egg protein 25%
Bovine Serum 10%
flax seed oil 5%

the total values ad up to 100%

and then you must tell them how many pounds of the formula you want.

Here is a link to their current custom order page... like I said they have a better interactive one in the works:

I really like HDT products. You can get 6 pounds of whey for less than $25...I use these for Post workout... It is called 5+1 Whey, you get 29g PT in 1 1/2 scoop and the strwberry flavor is great.
Next I use HDT pro-blend 55, it is a slow release PT and you get 55g PT in 2 scoops. It sells for less than $20 for 2 pounds. Excellent flavors.
Cheapest place that I have found to buy it is massnutrition.com

besides the taste isn't that great, the price is so damn high. Yet i have to admit to using it before; I needed a zero carb.
