help for a friend

no it isnt me assclowns ive got my shit handled.

anyway a friend I know is in deep shit money wise,they are off on disability and only get paid once a month but its never on time and they fell behind. now their car is up for repossession and they dont know what to do, he says he is just gonna keep it hid until he can pay on it or they find it,whatever comes first,but then im worried about legal issues for this person,I really dont want to see them go down that road.

what are the legal ramifacations of hiding a car thats been set to be repo'd do they issue warrants or how does this shit work?

i think they would have to prove it was hidden. isn't there some place he can park the vehicle that they would have no idea where to look?

well ya,and I got that shit all looked after for him,but what legal trouble can one get in for doing this, I mean the vehicle was never officially repo'd if it was hidden right, i just dont want buddy to end up in jail over it

i dont know - i wouldnt go with the typical shit-house lawyers on EF.

most lawyers do a free initial consult, so you should be able to ask them then.

better yet, ask a cop, because this would most likely be a criminal case opposed to a civil, so a cop should be able to give you a decent answer.
