help for a friend

my friend is wanting to start a routine. not sure on height and weight though ill come back with that when he comes back from new york. he doesnt want to bulk up huge he just wants not to be skin and bones, and to keep his feminine form. he has less than 10%bf. he wants to work on just overall appearence(meaning like a 6-pack and the usual stuff) . so i need some ideas for a routine for him to start on. but we live in a crappy town (spam town USA). so i dont know what we have for weight stuff, so try and keep it what a YMCA might have at a bare minimum
 
well, it was part of the conv we had while trying to figure out his goals, and his need to still look good in a dress and his feminine form came into play, ill put up some pics or a link if i can find any, sorry about all this im kinda new so i have lots of nonsense thrown about
 
i can see his need for wanting to still look good in a dress. my suggestion would be to bulk up and buy bigger dresses. switch to flats, because his ankles may get sore and tired from being in heels, especially with the added bodyweight. focus on high rep tricep kickbacks, inner and outer thigh machines and perhaps start taking pilates. soy based protein would be a good choice too.
 
well, thx, i know it sounds fake, but yeah, were both strange ppl, look up limphry on myspace, that'd be the guy, but yeah thx for the help. i kinda figured itd be difficult to help with considering all the oddness and less than specific stuff. sorry and thx again

ok. aside from the oddness of this post. if you put up some more specific goals, then maybe you can get some more help. it is hard to tell someone what they should do, if you dont know exactly what they want to do. but if your friend wants to keep his "girlish" figure, and keep his bf% low, he would want to keep up on his cardio. this will also help to bring out the 6pack.
 
BigNate has some good ideas. I would also have your friend start on a powerlifting routine. Heavy Deads and Squats will build nice round hips. For a nice full chest, focus on heavy incline presses. And be sure to hit the adductor/abductor machine HEAVY.

Don't forget diet, either. Have your friend strive for 5,000 calories a day minimum. Eat 2 pounds of hamburger and drink a gallon of whole milk a day. Remember, those sexy curves on a woman are fat, so up your body fat percentage to 20% or so. Consider a dozen crispy cream donuts pre-workout.
