Hello

I have been bodybuilding for several years, nothing serious - have qualified for national competition but let it lapse as I tore my dystal tendon, then broke my hand. Anyway I am back to it and am preparing for the April 12th MET in NY. Looks like I will be a light weight which I have not been since my first show but I have a hard time hangin on to muscle when I cannot train hard. After 2 years of injuries and a year to put some size back on when I "unwrapped" I am stayin around 127 to 129 lbs. I like to get to where I need to compete and then stay there for a while to look as hard as I can. Of course the risk is NOT staying where you want to be. So I got the stomach flue tuesday this week...could not keep anything down. I was at 127.8 and now fully recovered am at 125, fully hydrated again. I am showing trace signs of ketones and am a bit concerned. I have decided to up my carbs and fats a hair then monitor my weight very closely. I like what I am seeing in the mirror, all the muscle is showing well, the skin is thin and the vascularity is nice. Of course the last couple of mornings it has been a bit more intense with no food or fluid in me LOL. Looking for a read on this direction --- good or useless? If not good any advise would be greatly appreciated. Here I am 3 weeks ago at around 131 lb. Now you know why my handle is Mydawgs...
