Heavy Hack Lifts Does anyone do them?

Hi guys Was just curious to know if any of you guys do heavy barbell hack squats and what you think of these. Ive found it to be my strongest free weight exercise. Just recently got 565 off the floor at 185 body weight. Is that good strength? And what exactly do they train. I do them by getting the weight up by any means rounding the back using the legs etc. Any information would be greatly appreciated. ThanX
 
ThanX Teirvexx appreciate the response I dont feel it much in my quads the way I do it more like the sides of my legs and low back lats. Anyone else have any opinion on these? Any information is very helpful
 
Try the training board. It's not really a typical move for a powerlifter. Quads are kinda "all show and no go."
 
ThanX Spatts I'll do that Its more of a power move for me really Not sure if much quad is even involved Feel it mostly in my Hams and erectors Basically just doing a deadlift with the bar behind me PL style getting the weight off the floor by any means ThanX
