heavy bag

m'kay, i am thinking of buying a heavy bag. they are 1/2 what the sporting goods stores sell them for if i buy one on ebay. only problem is they are empty when i get one off ebay.

i used to have one a few years ago, but i got it from a sporting store and it was filled with lint (i think). since the new one will be empty what could i fill it with? soil, old clothes, what.

i think canvas bags are filled with densely packed cotton. now all i need is 60 lbs of cotton & a biiiiiiig toilet plunger.

hmm. maybe i should spend the extra $20 and buy a bag at dunhams.

They come with some sort of soft fabric in them but mine has a hard lump right in the midsection. It was like hitting a baseball so as you can imagine it had to go. I opened it up to try and get the spot out but that shit was packed so tightly in there it wasn't gonna happen. Now I just have a red X on the spot and I try not to hit it. Just go to your local sporting goods store they are not expensive anyway, like $100.

If you fill it with sand a 75 lb. bag will probably weigh about 400 lbs. I think you wouldn't last more than one punch as you hand will be fractured.

some bags are filled with bits of foam used as padding in seats and stuff. you could find it cheap, sghred it up and stick it in
