heat or ice to help with soreness in leg?

would heat or ice help with the soreness in my thigh, b/c i can't walk! i limp everywhere and people ask how i hurt myself

I USUALLY TAKE A WASH CLOTH AND RUN IT UNDER HOT WATER AND THEN GENTLY RUB YER INJECTION SPOT WITH IT...THIS WILL TAKE AWAY MOST OF THE PAIN....HOPE THIS HELPS..

If from an injection - warm heat would be best.

injection soreness- heat as cornholio sais- I always rub out the injecti9on site, and put a heating pad on it immediately after,

Compression

Its swelling dude. Use ICE for swelling & HEAT for cramping & tightness, as heat relaxes the muscle. You need to ice a sore injection spot due to swelling(inflamation) again.

Not true, my friend. Ice inhibits blood flow..

heat will help increase blood flow, ice will numb the pain though. i would cycle heat and ice, 10min heat, 10 min ice. this usually works the soreness out.
