headaches

Finally got an appt with the doctor thursday and he was concerned about my exercise/sex induced headaches. His gut feeling was for me to get an MRI because he just wants to make sure and rule out the severe problems. He said in the meantime if it happens again, take an aspirin and see if it goes away, if it doesn't, it's more evidence it's something serious. Well, when i was having sex, it immediately came back, i took 2 aspirin, and it went away as i kept going. My question is, if this happens to be a tension headache or something not serious, how would i get it to stop hurting from the things that cause it besides becoming dependent on aspirin?

Hey I had this happen a few weeks ago. I was doing hack squats and when I put the weight down I got a headache immediately. I had to sit down and go home. After that I continued to have a dull pain at the top of my head and it would get worse during sex. I went to see the doctor and I had a ct scan of my head and it came back normal. I took it easy for a while and took a pain killer if my head hurt. Now I'm back to normal. When you lift weights you are putting your body under a lot of pressure (that pressure has t go somewhere) and if you're not breathing properly (As I sometimes do when I'm about to max out) and lifting weight too heavy and your form is being compromised that can all contribute to the occurrence of these headaches. Its good just to get you head checked out but most likely you're fine. Just make some adjustments to your workout or stay out of the gym for a while until you feel better.

that's really good news because those are the exact same symptoms i've had. how long did you take off of working out?

Funny that exercise causes you headaches. Opposite for me.

I have new daily persistent headache, a form of chronic daily headache, and I have headaches 24/7 for 2 years literally, and exercise is the only time I can cope with them, so I literally have to exercise for 2 hours a day not to feel completely shit. (Hence, my running addiction and why I will never develop any real size)

I get something I call the " Hang Over" about at the second to third week into PCT when coming off or switching esters. And it mostly hits me when Im at the gym. It goes away in about six weeks.

Hey do you take any NO products? I'm pretty sure it was the SuperPump I was taking because I stopped taking it for a while and my headaches went away and when I started up again the pain came back after a few uses. I hope this helps.
