headaches

Zyrtec always makes me feel very strange. Don't remember if headaches were part of it or not. I just remember that I ended up throwing them away and going back to good old Claritin.

The juice will make your blood pressure go up which can cause headaches. The test also has a tendency to thicken the blood. Taking two aspirins per day (yes, real aspirin...not acetometaphin or ibuprofen) tends to thin the blood back out.

nybb / macro - thanks for the responses.... well, I've been taking Zyrtec for several years now, never had this kind of headache... I also forgot to mention that I took some liquid Cialis last Friday night and the headaches haven't stopped since.... I originally thought that was the culprit... my head always hurts a little when taking Cialis/Viagra...but not this bad...and for this long.... my doctor says that Cialis should be out of my system after 72 hours so he doesn't think that's it... he said I'm having "spasms" and is prescribing Imitrex... that's for migraines though.... not sure what's going on here

does anyone else get a wicked headache the following day after heavy lifts, eg., squats or chest day?

someone told dullboy something about uric (sp?) acid in the blood or something like that...

does anyone have any idea what the fuck dullboy is babbling about??

dullboys head hurts real bad.

sorry bro, haven't forgotten that this is your post.... my workout partner had something similar happen to him a while back... he went to his doctor and then was referred to a neurologist....he was given an MRI... everything checked out ok.... the neurologist looked up his symptoms and told him that he was having what's often called "weight-lifter's exertion" headache... quite common for guys who lift heavy...he got wicked headaches and there was a "popping" sound in his head..... she gave him an NSAID (indomethacin) and it seems to help
