the pregnyl box says keep at 5 to 12 deg Celsius but i kept it in my cupboard for about a mnth , is it ok to use it.. what else should i do

This thread has me worried... I've never refrigerated HCG. A vial lasts me about 10 weeks, and I hope I'm not wasting it. My doctor said keep it at room temp; unlike HGH, which I did have to refrigerate after reconstituting. Gonna check into this!!!!!!

It needs refrigerated after mixed just like HGH.

I'd already read somewhere that it didn't need to be refrigerated, so mine is just in a drawer.

So let's assume it does need to be refrigerated - what's the status on the stuff in my drawer? Less potent? Useless?

Time to get some more - bleh.

I just fired off an eMail to the compounding pharmacy where mine came from... I'll see what they say, and will post up.

Fellas - read the vial that the HCG comes in. Mine says... in all caps "REFRIGERATE AFTER RECONSTITUTION". It is from a compounding pharmacy as well.

The answer from my compounding pharmacy: "It is recommended that HCG be refrigerated after reconstitution, but we don't feel that it is essential for most patients to do so. The studies show that HCG will lose appx 1% of it's potency per month at room temperature after reconstitution." This makes sense, as for most people, the vial will last 2 or 3 months. That means that at room temp, the HCG is still 97% potent at the end. Just to be on the side of caution, I'll start refrigerating as of today. With the summer heat here, it's probably wise. (My vials don't say one way or the other, whether to refrigerate)

Fantastic. I hope that's solid info.

And just to make myself feel better, I double checked my vial when I got home and I was right - it does not say to refrigerate. It does say something about storing at 2-15 degrees celsius after reconstituting, but that's completely different I'm sure ;) (yes, I'm retarded sometimes).
