Don't 'cha think that's a bit harsh? I mean, c'mon, the Vietnam War was another lifetime ago. Things were very different then. At least he didn't high-tail it to Canada like a scared chicken.

HE was BETTER than bush.....i want the best possible for YOU...for HIM..OR her.for MY children....meanwhile .....18 year old children are dieing for oil.....i know we need it...it isnt about john fucking kerry....its about a Desserter sending our children into the GAPING mouth of HELL for oil...and not using his head for a different solution....thats the story now MAN...end of story

End of story my ass. If it wasn't for them it would have to be one of us. I would be there if they hadn't toldf me I was ineligible. If you think that anyone in this country is above military service you can just kiss all of our asses. What are you gonna say? " Its okay that so many are dying in Iraq, they volunteered for it!"?

Horseshit. It was the actions of the idiots in Abu Grahab that got people killed. The NY Times was just doing their job, DAMN THEM. Lord knows the media is one of the last remaining checks and balances in government. If that story never made the public, do you think anything would have changed? Hell no. The military knew full well about that story for months prior to 60 Minutes releasing it and didn't do jack shit.

Do you propose we keep everything under wraps? Like US serviceman/women killed?

What does that have to do with anything? What do I do? If you are wondering if I ever did my stint in the military , yes I did ....as did My Dad and Brothers. Do I believe in war? Hell, no. I think that it sucks. Do I think that this war is uncalled for? You bet. But my point is that you can't compare wars, nor should you stand on your high horse and slam everyone who doesn't think like you do. Did I vote for Bush? Hell no. But I am not going to sit back and judge what other people did over 30 years ago. That was then, this is now. I also get very sick of people slammin' the military and disrespecting veterens.

Kerry tried for a deferment to continue his studies in Paris
when declined he enlisted then in order to avoid being drafted into the army
he chose the navy and opted for swift boat service because at that time the coastal boats weren't employed in combat zones

did you guys know that bush apointed Alberto Gonzales as US Attorney General ?.....to replace ashcroft .....but old al is the one responsible for Abu Grahab....what kind of message is that sending to the iraqis ?.....not a good one ....they must really like democracy so far...dont think its true ? look into it...old bush wont be counting on that...(the american people looking into it that is)

Just watched the HBO thing. it`s pretty sad. What`s sadder is the Iraqi`s have 100 times more deaths and we celebrate it as a victory WHILE some of their deaths are of innocent people as well. Even small children. Everyone has a family or loved one that mourns.

Yep. you're right. The good thing is that they now that these will be the last victims. Because thanks to U.S. there's no Hussein terror anymore. He used to kill women, kids, men for any reason. Even test chemical weapons over innocent people. That's over. Now they will be a real nation. Or better said, they ARE.

Horseshit to you sir. The story should have been reported. But it was blown enormously out of proportion by the New York Times and other news organizations largely for political reasons, and drug on for far too long. And it was absolutely a harming force for our troops.
