Having Lipo, need help

Hey bros,

Im about to have lipo done, on the "love handles", the lower abs, and the doc told me he could remove the slight case of gyno i have by simply sucking it out. Anyone have experience with gyno being sucked out instead of cut out? Let me know guys.

Lypomastia ( fat deposit) can be sucked. Real gyno is made of breast glandular tissue and usually has to be cut, but I´m no plastic surgeon.

how much is that costing you, dont tell the army actually going to foot the bill. I did hear somewhere along my career that each service member is entitled to one cosmetic surgury in their career but I have no ideal how much truth there is to that.

I had a doctor tell me the same exact thing.

Had the surgery and went thru a long recovery and when the swelling was gone the lumps were still there.

The doctor thought he could improve the appearance by removing fat but lipo cannot remove the actual lump.

He ended up giving me a refund of all my money.

Don't do it!

Just another example of why you have too question your doctor.

I have had two surgeons want to cut on me in the past, not for gyno, other reasons. Both misdiagnosed me. The only way I found out was to get three opinions. Docs are motivated by money, just like your car mechanic.

No guys. I had gyno removed with just lypo. Most of it was fat but he removed the hard part with lipo. He used what he called a canula and it does not have a vacuum tube connected to it. It has the handle and the tip goes into the incision. The fatty tissue and fluid that he removes fills into the handle.

He did not cut under the nipple but about 3 inches above on the side of the pec so that he could go back and forth to fan the whole area, not just the hard part in the middle. That was 2 years ago and it is the best result.

If your Dr is a plastic surgeon, I suspect he knows what he is doing. BUT, INSTEAD OF TAKING YOUR QUESTION HERE, GO BACK TO THE DOCTOR, and ask him the same and keep asking more until you are clear on the procedure and the game plan. If you are worried still, get a second opinion.

BTW, my DR was ranked tops in the city by Chicago Magazine. He was trained at Yale Med and I don't think his methods would be anything less than state of the art.
