I have been tryin to cut up hardcore [and natural for the moment] for the last two months. I have increased my cardio to a daily thing and have changed my workouts to lighter weights witrh more reps. Currently shoot for 12-15 reps per set. I have a diet of 40/30/30 [p/c/f] and sit at just above 2000 cals/day .I started to lean out but have come to a grinding halt. Any suggestions on change of routine, diet or 'supplements' would be much appreciated. K for the good stuff.
My stats are 6ft, 198 lbs and approx 13%bf. Want to get to under 10% bf :chomp:

When are you performing your cardio? The morning on an empty stomach is the best time.
What type of cardio are you doing? Are you using machines, doing sprints or running cross-country style? Try and switch it up, adding a new type of cardio could be new surge that you are looking for.
I would warn against using light weights for higher reps. Dorian Yates was the first famous BBer to educate people to the fact that you should train in the same rep range as you were when you were bulking. By still training heavy your will be able to keep more of size and strength that you had before you started cutting.
I have never followed a 40/30/30 program, but I have heard it works. Try to up the protein and lower the carbs to like 50/20/30 or even 60/10/30, or do lower fat 50/30/20 or 60/30/10. You could also zig-zag your carbs, meaning having high carb days, medium carb days and really low carb days.\
Do you drink coffee or energy drinks? I am relying on both right now to cut. You could try a thermogenic pill also, I don't know what is legal in your country.
Good luck. :bigbuck:

usually i do my cardio first thing in the morn. It's usually either a solid distance run or some speints but i have recently taken up surfin and let me tell ya its a fuckin solid cardio workout! Will try switchin back to lower reps higher reps. Seems to make sense. Theirs not a lot thats legal here down under but like that stops any one! am seriously thinkin of jumpin on a cycle of winny to kick things along. Thanks for the solid advice bro. K 4 u.

Personally, I'm not a fan of am cardio. It's too catabolic and can have undesired results.

I think your diet is probably ok. What I would suggest is to skip the high rep stuff. That could be your problem. When you're cutting, your workout should really change all that much, although you may lose some stregth. But don't worry about that. Stick to a lower rep range, and do the best you can, even if it means you're not lifting as much.
