Never puked, dry heaved a few times. Had some minor blackouts.
I'd like to add to this discussion by asking how many out there have had there nose start gushing blood from strain. I have a few times. Had a bad one the other day. Usually happens when I am i a pissed off mood.
I don't do GVT anymore as it jettisoned me into overtraining. I would only recommend it for 2 or 3 weeks--works good with creatine as it really depletes the hell out of the muscles. And even then only as a last resort to break a plateau if all else fails.
I seem to remember doing one set of squats, 30-60 sec. rest, one set of ham curls, 30-60 sec rest, another set of squats, 30-60 sec rest and then a set of leg curls, 30-60 sec rest, repeat 5 times (or until you vomit). Something like that anyways.
Don't remember much except feeling like I was going to black-out half the time.
I've blown chunks a few time when I go real heavy , but I kind quit working legs , my pants don't fit if I lift heavy every week. I only work them bout once a month , but I get sick on that day.
I guess I blessed with big ass legs
I passed out last time I did legs. I barely made it home and dropped like a rock on the living room floor. Woke up mins. later and dragged my ass to bed. Thank god I lifted late.
Nope
but have you tried getting laid an hour later,,,,
as you quad locks up in a really fierce charley horse,,,,
an you roll off onto the floor holding your leg screaming an cursing,,,,,
Yep, every other leg workout I toss my cookies. Whether I'm doing squats or leg presses. I think it's because when you're doing heavy squats especially, you're whole body is exerted lifting the weight, and a lot of blood is circulated, making you feel lightheaded. Then this nauseous feeling comes over you, then you throw-up. That's how it is for me, anyways. Doesn't matter whether you eat or not before a workout, I'll still throw-up. I never eat before a leg workout so I just puke water. Maybe I should be doing more cardio, that might eleviate the problem. But after I throw-up I feel like a million dollars walking out of the gym.
