Imo, it's not all that.

If you really want to enjoy the experience of flying, go pay for a little 2 seater plane to take you out over the mountains or something. That would be much more enjoyable than a commercial air-line flight which sucks in all honesty.

My dad has a small planes pilot's liscense and he would let me fly the plane part of the time it was awesome.

I have been flying since I was a kid, I really like it I just wish airplane seats were bigger.

Never flying again. Last time I flew I ate a drug store and got drunk at airport prices. Once those jet engines started I was instantly sober.

I work for the FAA and don't get shit. But I do I fly all the time though...takeoff is fun like someone mentioned..
But landing at night in bad turbulence and shitty weather still causes me to pray a little...I was also on a Delta plane one time that aborted takeoff halfway down the runaway. We were screaming down the runway and all of a sudden the reverse thrusters came on with some serious braking.The pilot came on the PA shortly afterwards and said a "caution light" came on and they nhad to abort. Then I-shit-you-not 10 seconds later he said it went out and we are gonna try to takeoff again. And we did. One of the few times during my life I shit my pants was during that second takeoff roll.

I have flown a lot since I was a kid. I really only enjoy it if I am flying the plane though. Hoping to finish my instrument rating this summer, then get my multi and commercial and CFI which will all go by quickly I just need the money and time.

I fly at least once a year, and I hate it. My anxiety goes nuts on takeoffs and landings. Turbulance don't help it none either. I like to travel so I just pop a few Xanax and try to fall asleep before takeoff.
