Have I gone as far as a natural guy can go?

5'9 184 in these pics , what do you guys think is this all a natural guy can do on his own? Thanks to all with honest critiques .

Think it would help if the pics were here too huh?

It's definitely me and it's drug-free as well . I was just wondering if this is about what a drug-free bodybuilder could go cause I'm beginning to become very curious about a possible cycle and I kind of want to know what a reasonable amount of gain for a first cycle . Thanks for the opinion .

IMO, You can go much further before turning to drugs! Just keep working hard, it is not going to come overnight! Keep up the good work!

It depends on how long you've been working out and how old you are. If you are 40, you probably already passed your potential and your test levels are not at their highest. If your still in your 20's see how far you can go..It's cheaper that way...

I've been training 13 yrs and I'm 29 , it's just the last 2 yrs or so have been spent making minimal if any gains :(

Start hitting the sauce. At 29, your growth hormome production is slowing down. It's going to be much harder to pack on each additional pound of muscle from here on out.

You're looking ripped by the way.

Thanks for the compliment and the advice as well . I was right around 6% in those pics and I maintain 9-10% year round . One thing that really intrigues me is the idea of only doing one cycle and hopefully keeping around 10 lbs . I'd be sooo happy :D .

You are far more advanced than 90% of people are when they decide to hit up gear, christ, most guys dont even look like they work out when they start juicing. I was in the same boat as you, over ten years natural training, started gear 1 year ago, and am holding an extra 30lbs of mass so far, do it up!!!

Needsize , do you hold the 30 lbs even when you aren't cycling ? Also would you consider yourself a heavy user? Thanks for any further help and if you'd rather not post the reply feel free to pm me .

I didn't gain all of that 30lbs in one cycle, not all mass anyway, but I'm off now and am having no trouble holding it, as a matter of fact my strength levels are peaking like mad now. My first cycle was sust and dbol, the one I just finished was heavy enth, dbol and fina. I don't consider myself a heavy user, the most test I've used on a cycle was 1 gram per week. As long as you follow the post cycle recovery (clomid) and train your ass off, you should keep almost all of your gains when you come off

Because MaGilicuti , if I decide to change over to the dark side it's probably not very smart to show everyone who I am (not like I'm famous or anything just very paranoid) . Thanks for the compliment btw. And thanks for further input needsize all this info is helping me out a lot.

Dozerjay,
Im not one to argue but i find it hard to believe that your natural and have never used gear.

If you look atlot of natrual people you normally find that in comparison to bodybuilders that juice the natural guys shoulders are not so big and full as people who juice and also the legs are very different in shape.

One of the ways if you look hard enough that you can really tell if somone has used gear to somone who is 100% natural but if you are for real good work and you should do alot more natural comps as you will win them hands down.

can you post some better quality pics..?

Ummmmmmm..........I'm almost 35 and have put on 25 lbs of muscle in the last 5 years naturally.

Don't kid yourself, if I had a dollar for every time I have heard that......

Looking good though definately ready to juice IMO.

I say work with what you've got there. If that physique was indeed built naturally, then you've got some serious God given potential. I say don't spoil it with AS.

But you're also not a bodybuilder with 13 years of training under his belt who is struggling to put on even one more pound of muscle. If I had to guess, you never worked out at all five years ago, and now you've gotten into the lifestyle and put on some good weight, and now you may be close to your natural potential. It's just a matter of what point in your training you're in.

I'd agree w/ Geoff -- the decision to go over to the Dark Side is definitely your own decision. Either way you might want to research it just so you know what you are getting into / missing / don't have to deal with. You've accomplished some awesome stuff -- look amazing! You said you haven't made any gains in the last 2 years -- I wondered if you had tried different approaches to diet & training to coax out some more growth? While you are research AS you might also want to step out of your usual training & diet approach and see if you can do something different to get more results naturally. I've seen some natty bb's who would shame even the most optimal juicer.

Another thing to keep in mind is that when you juice you need to understand all the anti-estrogen and all the other stuff that goes w/ it as well as noting that you will have to compete strictly in non-tested shows. This was one of my major petpeeves when I competed naturally -- the girl who won my 2nd show was OBVIOUSLY juiced and they only do those lameo "lie detector" tests. It sort of pollutes the shows that are specifically natural and basicaly everyone knows who juiced and who didnt', despite 'testing'.

Good luck -- you have some awesome genetics!

damn dude thats an awesome physique... all i have to say is dont juice man.. people like you give motivation and hope to young knuckleheaded kids like myself... You see yourself in the mirror everyday and probably get frustrated at your lack of gains, but just remember when other people see you, it motivates them.... I've been thinking about a cycle as well but because i seen that you can do it without the juice it makes me want to try to do it naturally as well...

First off: Great Job Bro, amazing!

Secondally: I am much younger but consider myself to have an awesome physique and like yourself I am still natural but also am considering using a cycle.. I want to compete in NPC shows but I also want to get as naturally big as possible. If you think you could benefit from some different training techs, diets, etc. hit me w/ a pm. I would love to share knowledge, I know if I can keep making great gain naturally I wont convert to the dark side. And maybe you can hold out a while longer also!

Some people do actually develop some muscularity before they decide to juice. He just happened to bust his ass for a long time before he thought about it. Much respect for that.

i would hit up the sauce if i were you, your test levels are declining and its going to get harder and harder to pack on the muscle.
