Has anyone taken b-12 injections....

Can someone post up scientific proof that 99.9 of this shit is NOT excreted shortly after? Sure it gives you temporary drug-like effects but what's the point if you piss it all out?

And you have proof that it is excreted shortly after?!

I never noticed anything from B12. I did mine sub-q in the abs usually, though I also mixed it with painful gear and did it IM as well.

Neither did I but I still take it. A little extra vitamin can't hurt.

I went IM and I noticed a slight increase in appetite. I also seemed to have a more natural energy all day long. I think some people have slight deficiencies and other don't have any. This is probably why some people get something from it, and others don't.

No proof but the doctor will give 3000 to 5000 IM once per month. The reason to give it IM like anyother injection is to slow the release into the blood stream. If you take it orally it will be gone within a day. IM I find it hard to believe it would take a month to be absorbed/dissapated but that is what the Doc does.

I don't have time to research, but it just seems painfully obvious to me. Any attempt at getting drug-like effects from vitamins that are suposed to be used synergistically is illogical. You can't fool the body. It's like pouring gasoline on a car... you'll get a nice effect if you drop a match on it but it will work much better in the fuel tank. :)

I take 1ml of B-complex 2x a week. I haven't noticed any appetite increase but it does seem to give me an energy boost for the day, especially on days when I'm dragging. I've heard speculation that you have to take a large dose of B-12 only to see an appetite increase, because the body senses the imbalance between B-12 and other B vitamins as a deficiency. I've never tried it, so I can't say whether or not this is the difference.

i find liquid b12 and the pills at the supplement store, but what is the major advantage to injecting it ? can i just take the supplements or is there somethign i'm missing ?
