Has anyone here been to prison?

Just curious. I want to know if I am ever at risk of facing years in prison for AAS use, if I should just kill myself, flee the country or just do the time.

I know quite a bit about prison, but we won't get into that here. It's not quite as bad as it's portrayed by laypeople. It truely sucks, but running for the rest of your life would be alot worse. The likelyhood of you facing "years" in prison for AAS use are very unlikely. Kill yourself? It isn't that bad bro.

Imagine staying at a hotel that you couldn't leave and had to rely on the hotel staff for your every need. And they don't give a fuck about you.

Just one day in county, but from what I know it all depends on the place. Some are real shitholes, some are very dangerous, and while none are fun some aren't all that bad. Many do take the short way out and off themselves (which is why they try to keep sharp objects from you), rape and murder is quite common in some places too. Personally I'd probably make an escape attempt before offing myself. A large percentage of inmates have mental health problems like depression or being a sociopath and many take expensive drugs the prison pays for to treat their mental problems.

There's always little things like when my cellmate had a men's magazine sent to him by his girlfriend the guards ripped off the cover and kept it for themselves and they'll turn the lights off when they feel like it sometimes even flickering them just to mess with you. The food is the cheapest stuff they can get their hands on and the stuff that's supposed to be hot is cold while the stuff supposed to be cold is warm. Being stuck in a small cell is about as bad as a state college dorm room but it can get closterphobic too.

From what I've been told state prisons are more comfortable than county, federal more comfortable than state mainly because of the funding level and the fact that state and federal prisons have people living their lives out in them. Of course the danger level increases with state and federal prisons as well, the offenders get more violent and when they're serving their lives out they just don't care much about getting in trouble anymore. It'll depend on your location too- a county jail in Detroit is going to be worse than a county jail in beverly hills.

Beverly Hills is actually a city in LA County with its own city police. Los Angeles County includes all those infamous locales such as the Rampart community, North Hollywood, South Central, East Los Angeles as well as the Downtown District. As such, the LA County jail is one of the worst.

"sometimes even flickering them just to mess with you". Funny thing along the same lines. I saw a large group of inmates playing ball in the yard( yes, all black ) not trying to racist, just that was the situation. Anyway they had country and western music blaring over the loudspeaker. I don't think the music was picked by the crowd. A strange sight to say the least.

It probably depends on where your are. States are different. The time probably isn't that big of a deal, depending on what they pop you for. If you are not otherwise a criminal, and from your question I will assume that to be correct, I would say the biggest problem might be what it will do to your future. Looking for a job with a felony and/or prison term isn't the way to go. This will follow you for the rest of your life, long after parole and discharge. My advise, play it safe and buy Rick Collins' book.

The biggest problem in prison, from my experience, is the gangs. There is a lot of pressure to join. I can't emphasize that enough, A LOT OF PRESSURE. Of course this also depends on your race and how strong you are. If you think roids are worth dying for then by all means go ahead. Hopefully it won't come down to that.

Best Wishes
