It probably depends on where your are. States are different. The time probably isn't that big of a deal, depending on what they pop you for. If you are not otherwise a criminal, and from your question I will assume that to be correct, I would say the biggest problem might be what it will do to your future. Looking for a job with a felony and/or prison term isn't the way to go. This will follow you for the rest of your life, long after parole and discharge. My advise, play it safe and buy Rick Collins' book.
The biggest problem in prison, from my experience, is the gangs. There is a lot of pressure to join. I can't emphasize that enough, A LOT OF PRESSURE. Of course this also depends on your race and how strong you are. If you think roids are worth dying for then by all means go ahead. Hopefully it won't come down to that.
