Has anyone had Lasic eye surgery?

I'm thinking about getting Lasic done and was wondering what the people that have had it done think about it. Can you give me your pros/cons. Do you have any blurry vision at night or any other times? If you don't mind, can you tell me how much your procedure cost.

Yeah I have. I think it's great and it only cost $2,000,000. I say go for it because you won't have to worrie about cleaning and taking your eye contacts off anymore, you'll really going to save yourself a lot of time.

Yes I did it three years ago.
The only side effect is in low light it takes some time to adjust.
I do not regret this procedure it is some of the best money I spent.
It cost $1,500.00 per eye.
It does not hurt at all.
Hope you enjoy it if you decide to go for it.

No way it hurt like a mother for me. I had a little delay so I was pushed back because two others were ahead of me. By the time I had to have my eyes done I could feel the medication wasn't as strong. :( Man, I just had to suck it up and luky it only took 5 min. for the surgery to be done or I would have had a nervous break down. :rolly:

I haven't done it yet, but I'm seriously considering it. I personally know of 5 people who have had it doen, two being family members. They all love it. One had mild complications and had to go back in,but it was smooth sailing after that.

Had mine done 4 years ago.

Out of commission for one day. No lifting for two (2) weeks (just to be on the safe side). Back to work after the weekend.

Other than a nightime halo effect around bright lights - no problems whatsoever.

Best money I have ever spent.

my wife had the procedure done about 5 years ago... I got to watch it ... wow.. they put a brace over eyball to keep it still then they slice the cornea back on a little flap then shoot the laser into the area to 'melt' the eyeball into shape... then put the flap back into place... She had both eyes worked on at the same time... One of her eyes actually smoked when the laser hit it!

Got it done 2 years ago. Paid $4000... Yeah, a lot of money, but it was one of the best surgeons in the U.S. doing it. If I'm going to mess with my eyes, $4000 is nothing in order to be on the safe side. Had a number of checkups with my optometrist and he said the way the surgeon did it and my recovery was as perfect as possible. For a while, had halos around bright lights at night...but it's like 95% gone now...don't even notice the 5% because it's so weak it's not noticeable unless I make a point of noticing it. Otherwise, absolutely no complications at all. Only spent a day with my eyes covered.

I LOVE IT! The best money I ever spent.
