Has anyone had a subacromial (shoulder) decompression surgery?

I'm having the type of shoulder pain that is about to put an end to my weight training. My bursa in both shoulders are inflamed beyond belief. This is causing impingement. The only way I can even lift is by rubbing down both shoulders with Icy Hot. I'm wondering if anyone had this type of surgery with success.

I have never had a shoulder surgery so I can't comment. Hopefully someone on the board who has will comment and give you some insight as to what you have to expect.

Are you taking any over the counter supplements? There are a couple that will help reduce pain and inflammation in your shoulder.

The best joint supplement stack you can put together is:
5 tablets n2joint rx from n2bm.com + 25mg ostarine from sarms1.com + 3-6g of a high quality fish oil per day

This will actually help heal and repair your joints and ligaments, along with reducing pain and inflammation.

I have never had this surgery but if it is hindering your life to where you cant lift without icyhot, I would probably go for it. You could try running the ultimate healing stack as a last trial before surgery:

N2JointRx 5 caps
Nurtobal 25mg
Ostarine 25mg
Fish Oil 6g

All daily doses and run for 12 weeks.

I would consult a very good doctor on this or physical therapist

try and make surgery the last resort

I completely agree with @stevesmi here - surgery should be the absolutely last resort, and before going under a knife you should give a try to all possible options.

Sincerely, if the things are so horrible bad right now, I am not sure if supplements and other compouds will help, but it would be best to try them all out before doing such drastic things as surgery.

Ostarine, Nutrobal and N2Joint RX should definitely help, so I would give them a try to see how it goes.

There is a high chance some exercises are done incorrectly and the problem instead of healing just gets worse. Im saying that because I had the same issue many years ago

I'm pretty experienced with proper form. I think it's more the result of being 43 years old and having been a competitive powerlifter for 16 years of my life.

I've scheduled a consultation with a local orthopoedic surgeon who performs surgeries on a lot of local college football and basketball players.
