I've never seen this around here (N. Illinois). I'll be watching a bit closer now but I'm pretty sure they stay the same. I always look at the price above the pump before I start....

Also a liquor store down the street from me was purchased by a arab from an Asian family (really friendly, average prices)

he charges 8.49 for a six pack of Sam Adams
plus tax

I take out my debit card and he's like I have a $10 min on credit/debit
So I ended up paying the ten dollers (whatever)
Anyhow, as a business owner I KNOW he's trying to be a tight wad and thinks he can get away with it forever.
I have not gone back since and probably never will

Yeah, I hate shit like that. I can understand a $5 dollar min or something.

But you are right on no one carries cash anymore. I rarely have more than $10 on me left over from the bar the previous weekend or something...always use my cashback credit card.....

Wow. The local station here went to all cash now. I asked the guy if they'll ever change it back? "NOPE ,NEVER!" he says. lol They charge $3.86/gallon. It might be lower now. Haven't checked. Not bad, but I like using my 2-5% cash back credit card though.
