Credit card companies take 5-7% off the top - I think it is good the business owners (many who are small mom and pop's) are able to recoup some of it.

Wow. The local station here went to all cash now. I asked the guy if they'll ever change it back? "NOPE ,NEVER!" he says. lol They charge $3.86/gallon. It might be lower now. Haven't checked. Not bad, but I like using my 2-5% cash back credit card though.

Those station owners are stupid
they are not paying more than 3% TOPS
I get charged 4.9% to finance someone for 12 months No intrest/no payments
these guys who only take cash or charge more for credit, will be out of business in NO TIME
it's 2 fucking percent, build it into your costs, LIKE ANY OTHER BUSINESS OR GAS STATIONS

Do these COMPLETE morons even know how to conduct business
THIS IS A PLASTIC CONVIENT WORLD/PEOPLE DO NOT CARRY CASH ANYMORE (for the most part)
Also a liquor store down the street from me was purchased by a arab from an Asian family (really friendly, average prices)
he charges 8.49 for a six pack of Sam Adams
plus tax
I take out my debit card and he's like I have a $10 min on credit/debit
So I ended up paying the ten dollers (whatever)
Anyhow, as a business owner I KNOW he's trying to be a tight wad and thinks he can get away with it forever.
I have not gone back since and probably never will
