Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It has all the warm family time and good food without the stress or tension of Christmas.

This year Im thankful for a healthy, beautiful, funny little boy who amazes me every day; a nice place to work; food on the table; a roof over my head; for my friends and family who care

for snacky cakes in the pantry, of course, too.

don't forgive to think of all your blessings tomorrow and be safe!
 
I won't be seeing my family tomorrow. First Thanksgiving ever that I haven't. Don't have enough days off to make the drive. Going to the GF's dads instead. Should be interesting as I have never met her family.

I'm going to have to take little dev out for thanksgiving tomorrow because I don't feel like cooking that much food for just me and devin. My grandma is having thanksgiving on saturday, though and we are going over there.

Have fun at your gf's house!
 
I will have a good time I'm sure. She says they are very laid back, and her brothers are easy to get along with.

Happy Thanksgiving Snacky

I am going to my Mom's house for dinner. My job is to bring the sweet potato casserole and the broccoli casserole.

I'm thankful for my health and my family and my work.

I absolutely LOVE black friday. I cannot WAIT. Its more family time than anything, sometimes I dont buy alot. All the girls get together at 4 am and we just shop shop shop. All together. I look forward to it every year. Even my grandmother makes it - lol she is old as hell.

i hate black friday .. u couldnt pay me enough to go shopping .. with a bunch of savage bargain hunting weirdos ..bumping into me and breathing down my neck .. ill pass :biggrin:..

lol I feel so good about bargains. Free stuff with any purchase. Free scarf with any sweater purchase. lol I fall for all of it

I bought my first plasma tv on black friday. It was a huge bargain. They will advertise items that they may only have 10 of in the store. You have to get there early and fight for it. lol. I'm there at 4am coffee in hand

Yeah I"m in Denva having dinner with my very close friend/favorite Ex Anjali. I'm at her house right now waiting for her to return from Naropa U, then we go shopping. I'm using her POS Compaq and hatin on it. We keep in touch like once a month just to catch up and stuff, she's getting married in March and so I just wanted to see my old friend again. Her parents are like 2nd parents too me. Indian Shrinks who have an utter mystic discernment that does not intimidate at all but pacifies... Just like sending off good vibes into a room like they it was a bottle of Armani/Liz Taylor Cologne/perfume they bought at Nordstroms. What would be a socially awkward scene for most, her fiance I just met and is one very solid, kewl bro. I see why he's the man. Anyway, yeah having dinner with em tomorrow, and just chillin here in her pad for the next 3 hours, until she gets back.
U do have alot to be grateful for, Dman kickin up a storm, Great Job, U rawk just being U, some new 'Possibilities' it seems emerging on the forefront... which I approve btw.
I have alot too... I'll skip it though as my goals for the day are to only hoist up one chapter as a post and not the entire novel.
