Anyone here a wine buff? Wondering how you go about devloping a pallet that can tell what the hell is what. Had a friend over break with some wine called Scarecrow, I'd never heard of it but they said it was the shit. Turns out it some cult Napa Valley wine that sells for $500+ a bottle. Didn't taste like anything different to me.

good wine can come in a ten dollar bottle. theres no need to spend 500 bucks on wine. thats just overkill IMO
