Happy Fathers day to all EF fathers.

This will be the first in 2 years where i am not a father since my ex and I split. It was her daughter and she called me daddy. I miss that. Was still kinda hoping for a card or a phone call. We'll see I guess.

Sorry, to hear about the split, a father doesn't have to be related if you are filling the role. It's the relationship with the child that makes it family.

I broke up with my girlfriend some time ago, her son was like my own, he told her he could see coming home to me. He was 11 at the time. So I know the feeling. Take care all.

Happy Father's Day to all the fathers whose children won't be with them even though you didn't do a damned thing wrong. Try your best to get through the day, then know that the next day is another day to either continue the fight or another day to go on with your life and continue to bring positive people towards yourself. Know that YOU may be fathering younger people around you all of the time just by being an example of what a MAN is supposed to be. I know it seems like a bitter consolation but to those young people understand that YOUR CONTRIBUTION IS INVALUABLE.

Happy Father's Day to all the fathers who DID fuck it up... there is always another day to get your shit straight and get back into the lives of your children, that is IF you want that badly enough.

Happy Father's Day to all the mothers who are forced to be their children's mothers AND fathers. Your children may not have their genetic father but they got you - dont they?! And in case you didn't already know, believe me when I tell you that your children KNOW how hard you work for them so that they can have all the love and *stuff* that they need. Also be comforted in the fact that out there, there are plenty of good men that will gladly step up to the plate.
