Darn it...I just saw this after some sweet lady sent me karma wishing me a Happy Birthday.

Means a lot you guys...thanks SO much.

This thread and the messages that I've gotten from it...really hits me hard. I got quite a few karma messages today that leave me with tears. It has been a long day filled with food, drinks, family, and friends.

It was tough to hear my mother cry when she told me that she loved me just as much today as she did 27 years ago. My father too.

My father in law gave me a present today and shook my hand (rare here) and gave me a hug. I know that it is tough for him to accept me...but the thought really touched me. A lot of family came today and quite a few never even said a word to me, that hurts quite a bit.

This thread and the people that give their hearts and kindness...are never forgotten in my good thoughts and prayers. So many people mean so much to me, even the ones whose path has crossed mine in a negative way.

Thank you all, so much, for so much more than you will ever know.

I had some sort of white ice cream type of cake with chocolate swirls (hard chocolate) on the outside.

Drank lots of beer and introuduced lots of people to Jimmy Beam. We fed about 30 people last night and everyone left around 2:00 am. Our kitchen looked like Beruit after the war...lol.
