hang cleans for delts...

i used to get a pretty good pump from them, and they wore my ass out. but they also put me out of commission for upper body work for about 3 months, jacked my wrists up.
 
I usually consider them a trap exercise, but I assume they smack the deltoids as well. It all depends on how your form is I suppose. I really try to contract my traps as violently as possible before exploding upwards, so I feel it more in my traps.
 
IMHO they are okay at best as a bodybuilding exercise. I never got that much out of them. Seems like they utilize more momentum and technique to move the weight rather than contracting muscle fibers.

That being said, they are great for sports like football that involve explosive, powerful, snapping motions.
 
Coudl one of you guys explain to me what a hand clean is? :)

Also anyone know any good sites wich show expercises with good form? how to do them properly ,, pref with pics, pref with animated pics.
