Hands and arms falling asleep

Bros, heres the deal.
Since I started my cycle, which I am on week 5 now. My hands and arms been falling asleep while i'm sleepling. I'll wake up in the middle of the night and have to wake up my hands and arms. This happens every night since like week 2 or 3. This has to be gear related? Should I be worried? Is it a problem with blood circulation. I'm running test & deca.

it happens, your just cutting off a main artery or somthing, you prob. sleep with your ams folded under your heard or on your stomache somehow right? its normal, no harm being done

sometimes I do sleep on my hands, but not that much. This is happening when my arms are not even under me. I hope this isn't anything with bloodpressure.

This also happens to me by just resting my arms above my head whilst lying on my back. I remember one night, waking up screaming at the mrs. I had to get her to lower each arm carefully down by my side. couldn't move. both arms completely paralized. Major panic. Thought I was gonna dislocate my shoulder.

When the blood starts coming back into the arm.......... shit that is a pain you don't need...... god dam... :(

Sleep on your back with arms by your side. Not gear related. I get the odd occasion where by one of my arms has gone above my head in the night. Used my good arm to lower the paralized one down by my side. Its not fun. Have to try and hold your shoulder while doing it. Feels like if your not carefull, you're gonna pop something out.

this happened to me on my first cycle (sust Dbol), I was told it was from the muscle growing so fast and excessive water, heres what i was told and it worked, take nolvadex if your not already and start taking an asprin a day. Make sure and get the 100mg asprin and not the 500mg..........

This happens to me sometimes,it's just from sleeping the wrong way,it ain't gonna kill you, unless you have some serious condition you don't know about.

Its completely normal bro, happens to me every night at some point. The main artery that runs down your arms along side the nerve gets pinched off a bit if pressure is applied to it and makes your hands fall asleep.

Thanks bros for the reassurance...i'm going to have my blood pressure taken tonight. I'll post the results and if its to high or to low...shit i'll have to go see a doc.

Same here. I'll wake up and the arm and/or hand is dead numb. Sure enough, it is resting some how in a way that the nerve is pinched.

I straighten out the arm and point the hand down so gravity helps. By the count of 10 it is ok.

I notice that my hands and arms are taking more of a beating as I up the weights and reps. Could be contributing along with the extra water.

Small price to pay as I inch towards my goals. :)

If I'm not mistaken, it has less to do with blood circulation and more to do with nerve impingement. This used to happen to me a LOT until I started stretching. Enough can't be said about the benefits of stretching and flexibility. The only bad thing, IMO, is that stretching can take a lot of time and hurts worse than lifting weights...really should be a regular part of a workout regimen.

I've heard of this when using high HGH.

Alright bros, my blood pressure is 130/85. The person that took it says thats good. So what gives? I know it has to do with my cycle since this rarely ever happend before.

I am by no means a doctor, but I have been dealing with this myself for years.
I wake up a few times during sleep when my arms and hans fall asleep.
I usually figure it is just how I was sleeping.
My rule of thumb has always been to go and see the doctor if something bugs me enough. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

your arms fall asleep most of the time because of the way you sit or sleep. Your spine is where everything is connected so just stretch your kneck from side to side and holding 25-30 seconds each side and it should go away quickly

I don't know why it happens, but it is gear related...I just started my first cycle in over 2 years, and my arms started falling asleep after the 5th week...my wife is a medical assistant and she always checks my bp...I'm always in the normal range...

same thing happened to me when i reached a tolarance of ten bags of heroin a day. you should consider yourself lucky to be able to sleep so hard you jerk! thats all it is. if you are a lite sleeper you will toss all nite because your body senses being uncomfortable. your goddamn arm ain't gonna fall off. try a little tren and have to change your shirt three times and go through 2 pillows from sweating, and i might have some sympathy. j/k about the heron hee-hee!

happens to me ALLLLLLLLLLLLL the time, i usually end up with my hand under my pillow or stomach. when the feeling starts to come back, i wish it was still numb :(

same here bro it happened to me alot on my first cycle. Nothing to worry about imo, just all pumped up bro!!!

The Brachial plexus is the name for the bundle of nerves that carry all the sensory and motor fibers from your neck to your arms and hands. This plexus runs beneath your trapezius from the neck, under the clavicle, by the ribs and then into your arms. At week 5 on a bulking cycle I'd say it's most likely that you've gotten big enough in the traps to cause pressure on this plexus when you are asleep (and therefore not moving).

I assume that when you awaken, and move the arms a bit, it goes away? I've experienced this as well (and I don't even do gear -- yet...) when I lift heavy for a while and my shoulders get bigger. I don't think it will be a permanent problem as the body does adapt to size gains -- you've just gotten big faster than your body can adapt, that's all...

Good luck to you,

Jerol

I noticed the falling asleep feeling a bit also. Definitely more than usual while on. Not
the shooting pain in my arms you descibed.

Last summer I worked in a manufacturing plant and was lifting heavy objects all day. My arms would fall asleep at night and the pain would wake me up. I started losing feeling sensation in my thumbs and fingers, I was told I was developing carpal tunnel. Just another posibility. If it persists see a Dr.

I was told that the muscle becomes inflamed and pinches the nerve, like jerol said. I popped some ibuprofen to help with the inflimation b4 bed. I complained to the plant Dr. and was "released" of my duties 30 minutes later. So, I hope it is not work related.

Mine have done that for many many years and it happens when my arms are bent at the elbow tight i.e. I am laying on them. I was young and dumb and did a cycle at a very young age. Actually I would not even call it a cycle I just got two bottles of test and injected like I was told for 8 weeks. Anyway I injured my elbows at different times very sharp pain went up through my shoulder. I was done lifting for a few month each time. Anyway many years later (Last year) I had talked to my doctor he had said (Forgive my laymens terms) a nerve moved out of place. He said it was nothing to be concerned about but if it really bothers me they can operate on it and put it back in place. My arms get so numb you could stick aknife in them and you would not feel them. Bu tthe doctor said that will not cause any permanent damage. To me it is annoying as shit that it happens just about every night but not bad enough to have them cut me open. That is just what happened to me if yours is the same, which I hope for you, then do not worry about the numbeness part. but I would think you might want to get it checked out just to be safe. Make sure your doc knows you lift however much you do.

Anyway I hope this helps to ease a little tension
