You can try my XD-45 and see how you like it. Love to shoot the sig sometime. I have a Kimber .45 and an S&W .40 which I don't really like but hell.

I still prefer the 1911.

For sure man, I'd love to try out the XD and you're more than welcome to try both Sigs.

Springfield GI High Cap. Standard 1911 5" slide on a bigger platform. I like the bigger grip due to the size of my hands.

I need to get back to the range with it, had a bur on the the extractor claw that my pops and I filed down. It was causing casings to hang.

Next one I am going to purchase is the Sig P220 army edition with the extended threaded brl.

Try carrying the piece with a "clipdraw" installed on the slide. No messing with a holster and clips the gun right to your belt. Ive been using this for a year or so and i will never go back to holsters again.
