DO they both hit the lower bicep equally effective? The chronic tendinitis that I have in left arm is making me do shit for weight on the reverse grip curl.

tendonitis sucks man. i have it in my forearms

I have oldageitis. 26 years of lifting. Actually, I'm pretty lucky. Just a few chronic injuries that come with the territory.

Suck ass. Now I've got in my right lower tricep where it connects to the elbow. Can't do lying extensions.

I switched to dumbell extensions and used my other arm to help me get thru the pain. Stupidly stubborn.

26 years of lifting. ya thatll do it. congrats to all those hard years of work bro. your a titan

get a shot in it

I had to do that for my riight tricep...its been like new for a year

or - DECANOATE it

I'll have to go with the cortisone. I'd rather have tendiinitis, than a shriveled pecker. :worried: THanks though. That just might work. Was it cortisone?

i was unaware that there was such a thing as the lower and upper bicep...that sounds like a wedier princople 109, 541.1....anyways, i'd go with an incline hammer, or reverse grip on the preacher bench.

having the same problems bro, heavy lifting and father time have been wreaking havoc on my joints.

I am do lots of ART and throwing in Deca so I can hopefully train triceps like I like to!

I'll never do hammer or reverse curls again. My tendonitis got so fuckin bad, that I couldn't do shit. I did follow Bigdawgs advice and get ART done on them and it helps a ton. I know I need to keep going every so ofton, but even just back or bi day will make them flare up a little. No more hammers for me.

um.....usually tendonitis is a result of a pronated grip.......hammers affect the braciallis...not the biceps directly.......

reverse preachers.

I didn't have it in my bicepts. I had it in my braciallis and also where the tricepts meet at the elbow. I have this BS for a good 5 months. Set me back majorly as far as training goes.

ART was the best thing I could have done. I just need to go back every couple months for another session.

Cortisone(sp) actually weakens the area, making it more succeptable to injury and even tearing down the road.
