don't get too excited. it is just a study performed on rats. this does not mean it will work on humans or it might produce horrendous side effects.

how many "miraculous" new cancer drugs and treatments have been published, which the press eagerly and irresponsibly gushes over, only to turn out to be dissapointments?

newspapers and tv news need something to fill their space/airtime and will do it with things they think people will be interested in. they will lose interest as soon as something more salacious happens.

(btw, how the hell do you know if rats have lost their hair, even if genetically enginereed to do so? is that really hair, or fur? do they have a little bald spot on the back of their heads?)
