HAHAHA sleep paralysis again last night

of course i do. funnily enough the night before last, i had a horrible one, where i was down at the beach, standing on some kind of raised platform, and there were all these like, whale things coming to the shore and pulling off little kids into the ocean and eating them, because their normal food source was gone (whatever that was)
for some reason i was the only one that could see them, and i was screaming at the kids to stay away from the water/get out as soon as possible, but either they wernt listening, or couldnt hear me.
for some other, even stranger reason i tried to get my mum to come and help me, but she was at this bar watching a strip show and wouldnt come.
what does all this mean???

lol sometimes I wonder what it all means. Thats a pretty vivid dream.

a woman i used to work with was very into dreams and paranormal stuff. she actually had books that spoke about sleep paralysis and how it was a spirit placing stress on top of you.

in our old home, 2 people had died there over the years. in the house. in our new place, not one. seems coincidental that i would have sleep paralysis on a weekly, sometimes biweekly, schedule in the old house and now, 1 or 2 in nearly 3 years. whenever the paralysis came my brain was in fright/flight state too, complete panic and clarity yet my body and eyes were frozen and i was helpless till i calmed down. could take minutes at times, terrifying.

i was just playing with you lol, im far from being a sceptic regarding paranormal phenomena. although it could have many rational explanations, it is a bit spooky that it happened at your old house, but not in your new one.

no s**t lol. normally i cant remember my dreams, just a vague recollection of having a dream, but cant quite remember what it actually was. but this one, i remember it plain as day, as if it actually happened.
iv never had this sleep paralysis that you speak of though. that would freak me the f**k out.

it does seen coincidental. I used to think that way because I moved into a new house, but it seems that anytime that I fall asleep on my back - sober - I will get one.

I get sleep paralysis sometimes...it's freaky because I'm usually half dreaming, half awake, so I'm aware and trying desperately to open my eyes or so say something and I can't...and when I'm half dreaming like the last time when I was dreaming I had a spider on my face and couldn't move or speak...ugh...I hate it

did you really have a spider on your face or was it just part of the dream?

ick!

And as scary as they are - lol they are beginning to become silly.

I had to sleep on my back last night because I am getting one of those summer colds and I was coughing and I needed a couple pillows to prop myself up blah blah

I normally sleep on my stomach because sleeping on my back will trigger one of these terrible dream/like things

I kinda hoped it wouldnt happend but it did.lol

a ghostly woman came to me last night in a ghastly voice - asking me if i had an extra pillow! lolol haha. Of course I couldnt answer - I could make little gasping noises though.

i needed all my pillows. lol

She was scary looking but if they keep being nice to me maybe I can deal with this. lol.
Cindy, the stories you tell, fucking would scare the shit out of me, I haven't had sleep paralysis in years, but fucking worst thing ever, just the fucking fear... the thing is what I fear will happen, never does... but in your case, it does. I'm just glad they know their place and don't really bother u too much...
dude, what is up with your dreams? I mean U had that one bout the little dude that u were pulling for, and he ends up dying... and then u ended up wanting to cheat on the hubbie, but didn't... that I remember.
Man, wish I had a solution, but I got no clue... I just know that whatever, bothers u in sleep paralysis, u have to remind yourself while it is happening, that nothing can harm u, and that u are in charge. Easier said than done I know.

sleep paralysis = the suck!!! it hit me a few times when i was a teen. it's like being completely awake and only being able to open your eyes. trying to scream doesn't even work. now that i'm a little older its happened more but now it's back to the way it was. still fucking freaky though. have you had the one where you're trying to fight it and it feels like you're getting up and slowly rolling on your side to make it stop??? or the one where you're in a dream and you keep waking up in the dream only to figure out you're still dreaming. haha it happens like 8 times and then you really wake up. fuck that shit. :( i hope my subconcious doesn't remember this thread tonight and trigger one

Fill a glass of water and sit it next to your bed. Tell the glass of water to catch those dreams you dont want to have, and your subconsious will understand and you wont dream it.

hopefully.

I dunno whats up with my dreams. Ever since I was a kid I was prone to nightmares and vivid dreams.

I am reminding myself that - so even though the woman looked scary - I was not as frightened as I would have been.....maybe thats why I thought it was funny that she asked for a pillow. they are getting tamer and tamer each time. It used to be a devil like creature and now its just some ghost chick who needs an extra pillow. lolol

no way i'll make a dream catcher or go out and buy those little tiny worry dolls you stick under your pillow while you sleep.

when you're not having sleep paralysis ever feel yourself "shake" in your sleep???

By the end of August it'll be Puddles asking for a good night kiss.
Or Chris 30wtf090210 asking for a crown.
Tell the lady to go bug those 2.

My mom doesn't have sleep paralysis but has a history of similar nightmares... not an easy thing to deal with, but they seem to come and go, and the more stressed out she is has something to do with it. Some of the stories she would tell me over the phone gave me fucking goosebumps...
