you an't have a Greek thread without some GoldenDelicious in it.

Let me open a Tzaziki thread so you can post in it as well (while looking good, of course)
opaaaaaaaaaa! ;)

oi. my buddy is moving to Stuttgardt. he says i should go there and sample the blondes. what do you think? im only 5'9, all the german chicks ive met are giants...and the second one of them asks me to go up on her, im getting on a plane and coming home :worried:

well, the Greeks have a great TEAM. Americans have great PLAYERS. it's basically encapsuled in "White Men Can't Jump".

The Greeks are a great team. The cream of Europe. and they play great 5 man basketball. US players are all about one man ball on offense and that doesn't play well in the intl arena. They also better find some outside shooters.

That said its good to see "Team" win. The US Olympic team is nothing but a collection of individuals thrown together for a couple of weeks hoping to out talent everyone else. They should put it back in the hands of amateurs and let them build an actual team

I agree that olympic sports are for amateurs. I lost all interest when they started letting professional athletes compete.

Me too

It was embarassing really. They turned what were fun exciting games into just horrible propoganda. Instead of good will and fun, it became the US trying to bully and embarass everyone by putting top professionals against amateurs (not every country, but generally true).

Did anyone really care when the "Dream team" won?

It was stupid and embarassing

going for bronze again. This year USA tried to put a team with chemsitry out there and it still didn't work. On one hand I'm suprised, but when you really think about it, USA had 0 experience.

They're in a three year plan culminating in the next Olympics.

You need months of working together before you get to the point that defensive switches are consistent, or there is actual motion in the offense.
