I love Mason!!! Other than Starks, favorite Knick of all time, tricep with range. Mason was a beast.
It appears they got Johnson and Amare? ESPN keeps fucking with me, knicks are front runner, recently they are outsiders, now ESPN is reporting that Lebron must be considering their offers seriously. It's cool to see how fluid the story is.
Word is that he'll announce by the 7th or 8th at the latest.
Still, I'm hoping he's a Knick. However, I have a feeble suspicion he will stay.

Mason was awesome. Oakley was probably my favorite knick, but mason was right behind him. The 90's knicks were tough as hell. basketball is missing that now. One the hand checking rule bs era started, basketball started getting soft.
His son plays for St. Johns now.
I wouldn't pay attention to anything ESPN says. Like i said, there is a large anti knicks bias (partially because Disney had a major fued with Cablevision...Disney = ABC = ESPN..cablevision = Knicks..and partially because most of the ESPN people are from the midwest. Chris broussard, from cleveland, also got fired from the NYTimes lol, so he's a bitter little mulato fag)
Even the free agents themselves have said comments like "I should apply to become an ESPN commentator, because they have no idea what they're talking about."
The knicks have a deal waiting for Amare and by all accounts it's a done deal. The ONLY thing i think they're waiting for is to see if Lebron has a preference of maybe someone else. If he says "I want to play with bosh" then they'd just pull the amare deal off the table. But it's in place.
Joe johnson? He got the max offer from the hawks but it looks like he's hesitant to sign until he knows what's going to happen with the rest of the guys. There's no indication he's going to the knicks though. Lebron is priority #1, wade would be priority #1a...and then trading for tony parker/waiting for Melo to become a free agent would probably be the next option once Amare is signed. Interesting quote i read in newsday was wade said in the knicks meeting "Get me 1 player and i'll win you a championship". Lets see how much that holds water.
no matter what, it's better than the crap they've put out there for the past decade. I wouldn't *hate* it if lebron stayed in cleveland, because he'd just be committing career suicide and you can understand that he doesnt want to betray his hometown. I'd lol @ his championship less for years to come though.
Now...if he went to the nets or bulls? I'd root against him every single game and he'd be public enemy #1. i think the whole nets thing is a pipe dream though created by Mr Shady Russian. The nets have been even putting out BS rumors in the press to undermine the knick's efforts. Russians = shady

I remember the whole tri state going insane that year....Rangers in the cup/winning the cup and the knicks were right there. Just couldnt close it out on the road.

I remember when he won that dunk contest as a rookie. He was the first to do the in between the legs dunk. Classic
What a shame, Isiah rider was actually a good player...just a complete idiot. By the time he actually matured to be professional enough he lost his explosiveness and was worthless.
