can someone put my mind at ease. i just got tornel test 200. it had the blue safety cap that i broke off myself. being the paranoid person i am i was thinking. if this stuff was fake, even with a seal, is there any risk that it could have a virus like H.I.V present in it, like if it was filled up using a needle or unserile equiptment. could it like in there? am i at any risk? my needles are always new, i open the packages myself.

I would'nt worry too much about this. Anyway, the virus cannot survive very long outside the body..... saying that I've always wondered on the causes of 'sust-flu'...

OK AIDS 101:
No you can not be infect period! As for needles yes you can get exposed from used needles due to the blood remaing in the needle and because the blood and the virus are not expose to the air the virus remain active.

If reusing needles do the following:

draw up one syringe of bleach then flush 2 -3 times with tap water or bottle water for the really paranoid.

HIV has a weak protein envelope and can survive in the "air" for just a couple of hours.

Problem is, is that if you have HIV you probably have other viruses hanging around that are sturdier and go dormant for long periods of time.

Don't take the chance.

I'm using that same tornel test, it is fine and you are fine, at least as far as HIV is concerned, if you are still unsure, send the gear to me and Iwill double check it for you.
