No doctor in Canada will give you anything to treat gyno. They will give you a referal to an endocronologist, and the endo wont prescribe anything as well. They will ask you why you have gyno, and you really cant lie because even if you say its from puberty, they will see your size, run blood tests and when they find out you've been using gear, they will refuse any further treatment to you untill you have been off juice for at least 60 days. The treatment after will be surgical removal of the lumps (not the gland) and you will have to pay for it. Its not covered under any medical card in Canada. Your best bet is to not waist your time seeing a doctor and buy some letro and start your own treatment asap!

hey Mr X / Dale ... my bros been on letro for 3 days now(2.5 mg ed). At this point in time id have to say it working. The main lump is still there, but its diameter doesnt go near as far across the nipple as it seemed to be a few days back. However, I am curious for future reference ...

Can letro aggrevate/make any type of gyno worse similar to nolva with Prog gyno or is letro a safe bet for treating all types?

I would double check that if I were you. I am being told (here in Ontario) that it is coveredby OHIP. A good friend of mine had the surgery and thus looked into this in quite detail. He says OHIP will cover it - but there was about a two year waiting period for the surgery OR you could simply pay for it and have it done much sooner.
Again, you may dispute this, and I must admit, I have not personally looked into it, just repeating what I was told.

Personally, I used Femara and Nolvedex ( 2.5mg/day and 40mg/day) for a month and it completely removed my gyno - including the hard lumps.

Your friend is not being truthful bro. Im from Toronto and Ive dealt with this issue already. Gynecomastia surgery is NOT covered by OHIP under any circumstances. It is considered cosmetic surgery and OHIP will not cover any of the costs involved. The only time they will consider covering it, is ONLY if it is related to puberty and it is painful and necessary to remove them. As I stated in a previous post, I was seeing an endocronologist at Mt. Sanai Hospital in Toronto and was told straight up that NOT under any circumstances would OHIP cover the costs of this surgery.

Im still running letro because my gyno was getting a little out of hand at one point. I was running around to doctors offices waisting my time before I tried it, and I wish I did it sooner, but never the less, I started mine almost the same as your friend and when I started letro, the lump on my left side was the size of a quarter roughly and the lump on the right was the size of a nickel. Now, the one on the left is the size of a dime and the one on the right is almost gone completely. Mine went away the same as your friends as well. They started to shrink length wise and then just got smaller from there all around.

As for aggrevating it, Im going to say no, and I know that prog gyno is a little different, but the concensus on letro is that it pretty much works on all types of gyno.

One last thing though is this, even though the lumps are going away, the puffiness is still there a little, so I may start running nolva in conjuction with the letro, but Im only going to run about 10-20mg a day and hope the puffiness subsides. Its really not that noticable, but Id prefer it wasnt there at all. Im just glad the lumps are almost gone. Hope that helps bro. Im really not an expert on gyno prevention and treatments, and I just went with what vets had recommended to me, as well as doing a little more research on the topic. Maybe Mr. X can add a little more to the equation though.

Cheers

appreciate the feedback DG ... your bang on regarding the lumps shrinking and puffyness still there to an extent. Its good to have bros on here that will relate their personal experiences, thx bro

no it will not aggravate, its effective however that does not guarantee that it will work.

I'm in the same boat with the lump reduced but some puffiness still. Mine was largely progesterone related, I believe. So, I'm going to throw in a little dostinex and possibly taper off the letro while doing a couple shots of formestane. Then, I'm going to balance a beach ball on my head and jump up and down .... Feels like I'm doing a chemical balancing act. I'm neurotic like that, though. Gotta try it all to be sure of how it works.

This is exactly what everyday is like for me right now. Take this pill, take another of those pills, load of the syringe to measure out my letro etc.... Some mornings I sit here taking all my crap wondering what the hell it is Im doing exactly. I mean, Im not going pro, I have no plans on ever doing a show, so why am I killing myself? But dont get me wrong, I still love BB'ing :)
