MUSTANG_18 said:Just thaught I'd let you all know how my recovery is going. I went to my surgeon for the first time since having my surgery done. My left nipple was extremely swollen and had a huge bruise around it, my right was a little puffy but not that bad. It turns out I have a hemotoma (sp?) on my left side and a little on my right. He took a cannon of a needle with the biggest syringe I have ever seen and drew out just under 70cc!! from my right pec about an inch to the right of my nipple. He tried to do my right but the blood is very old and thick and would not go through the needle so he only ended up geting about 40cc from my left. The right side looks great but the left is still pretty fuckin big and bruised. I go back this Wednesday to try the draining process again so hopefully I can get the rest of this shit out. Anyone ever have a similar problem ? He said it was the first time he has ever seen it in any of his patients and he has done over 30 gyno surgarys. I'm back in the gym 100% pain free and I managed to not lose any weight or strength during my time off.

Bruising and swelling after surgery depend on the problem to be treated, surgical technique, skill of your surgeon, what recently has been put into your body (medications and over the counter substances), your tendencies, and other factors. Bruising after my surgery is typically minimal. Hematoma problems can happen to anyone, but have been very rare in my practice.
I typically also do not need to use drains for my male chest sculpture.
Detailed photographs are valuable to document bruising and swelling. Putting up early after surgery images with the technique used, surgeon, and other factors can help.
Hope this helps,
