gyno surgery question

AAP said:
Wouldn't something that existed since puberty be an actual lump and not just swelling? I can't see how tamoxifen would help break up a lump. I mean prevent one, but actually break one up?

There was a post in the past about a gyno killer cycle that involved injecting something (??) directly into the lump.

i kinda do remember that

shit me not but was predinsone (anti inflammtory steroid) ?

is that even an injectable ?

also so posts here about some type of gyno gel cream also

Gynecomastia is a lump. Look at the links to Dr. Bermant's site. Tamoxifen may reduce the lump and prevent further growth.

that site, while EXTREMELY informative is a bit cluttered and difficult to navigate. I didn't / couldn't find the part about nolva doing that.

There are some papers that claim tamoxifen can reduce existing gland. We suggest patients who prefer medical treatment seek care from their doctor or an endocrinologist. As a surgeon, I only am seeing the failures. Many patients have come to me telling me that such treatment did not help or was limited in what it helped.

Injecting into the male gland can cause real problems and is something only a qualified physician should be considering.

Hope this helps,

Michael Bermant, MD

sorry, I didnt mean to suggest that his site had info about tamoxifen treatments for gynecomastia. I just referred to it for the "lump" part of your post (there are pics of removed "lumps").

As Dr. Bermant has said, being a plastic surgeon, he is cutting into people. He sees the cases where tamoxifen didnt work completely. He's where the physician would send you if the tamoxifen didnt work.

will nolvadex hinder the effects of a var/masteron cycle? I ran out of nolva and the puffyness is returning to my nips, I didn't treat it long enough, but the nolva was definately taking care of it.

its commonly believed that tamoxifen will limit gains to a certain degree (I have no proof for or against that theory), but I have found that even "10 mgs a day helps keep the gyno away". And, I am very prone to gyno.

Of course that was without pre-existing gyno (thanks to tamoxifen).

So, while it may limit gains to some degree, I think you'll still gain...and you wont have those nice female breasts...or would that be a bad thing?

I'd stay on the tamoxifen, at least 10-20mgs/day.

it was taking care of the gyno you had from puberty?

or new gyno you got while on cycle?
